It goes without saying that a technology-driven business model like on-demand massage depends on having reliable technology. So we were adamant from day one that Massago would be built around a custom-designed native app for both our clients and our therapists.
We’ve learned a lot of lessons over the past year about building an app-based business, including the need to be vigilant when it comes to digital certificate renewals. A missed renewal email notice and oversight resulted in our app going dark for 7 long days until we were able to rectify and resubmit to the App Store for approval. Yikes. For the most part, our customer service team was able to manually intervene; it wasn’t pretty but we made it through.
We continue to update the Massago app to make the client experience even better. In fact we’ll be launching two enhancements in the next few weeks – making it easier for you to rebook with your favourite therapist and giving our customer support team the ability to schedule a massage for our clients through the app.
